Writers Bloc allows members to create private groups that are discoverable via the groups dashboard but require a request to join. Here’s how you can start a private group on our platform:
Step 1: Begin Group Creation #
Log in to your Writers Bloc account and go to the ‘Groups’ section. Click on ‘Create a Group’ to initiate the process
Step 2: Enter Group Information #
Provide your group with a name and a description that encapsulates its purpose and theme
Step 3: Set as Private #
In the Group Privacy settings, select ‘Private’. This ensures that your group is visible to members but requires an invitation to join
Step 4: Customize Your Group #
Upload a profile picture and cover image to give your group a unique identity within Writers Bloc
Step 5: Manage Settings #
Choose who can invite new members and post content. You can also decide if you want to enable a group forum for discussions
Step 6: Publish and Invite #
After setting up your group, publish it. Then, invite members to join and start engaging with the group’s content.
Step 7: Maintain Your Group #
As the group admin, regularly engage with members, manage discussions, and ensure a welcoming environment for all participants.
