Groups
Whether you want to find like-minded people in a public group, keep it a bit more close-knit with a private group or have a space just for you and you writing group or book club, we’ve got you sorted.
How to set up a group
- Log in to Writers Bloc
- Navigate to Groups in the menu at the top of the screen.
- Click on Create a Group.
- Fill in the group details such as name and description.
- Choose the privacy settings for your group. Choose between public, private and hidden
- Invite members (optional).
- Click Create Group to finish.
What’s the difference between the types of groups?
Public
These are the kind of groups that are set up to be for a larger audience, one where anyone can join in the conversation.
Private
Set up to be searchable but requires a request to join the group. Great for when you want a bit of control over who joins.
Hidden
Perfect for when you already know who you want in your group. For example, a writing group or book club.
