How to set up a group

  1. Log in to Writers Bloc
  2. Navigate to Groups in the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on Create a Group.
  4. Fill in the group details such as name and description.
  5. Choose the privacy settings for your group. Choose between public, private and hidden
  6. Invite members (optional).
  7. Click Create Group to finish.

What’s the difference between the types of groups?

Public

These are the kind of groups that are set up to be for a larger audience, one where anyone can join in the conversation.

Private

Set up to be searchable but requires a request to join the group. Great for when you want a bit of control over who joins.

Hidden

Perfect for when you already know who you want in your group. For example, a writing group or book club.
