An Alte kaker who has been writing since he was a teenager – major crap until 1987 when my Tutor Carmel Bird informed me that the first story I submitted towards a Degree in Creative Writing was simply what I have just described. I wrote and re-wrote a novel, then over 80 Short Stories. I stopped writing in 1993, began again in 2012, my story Tess's garden was published in Sleepers Almanac#8, and since then I have written 43 new stories and rewritten 40 of the old ones. Yes, I am working on my Speech for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
