20 hours agoBloc Club I started going to Lifeblood during the pandemic (it was one of the only reasons you could leave the house!) and I’d always take a book with me.
On Saturday, I took this collection of three Claire Keegan stories and I was floored by it. In particular the first one, which also gives its name to the book.
What a powerful writer in such a small amount of space. I’d love to discuss some of the things in that story, but don’t want to give any spoilers!
